Please review or update your RSVP if you have not done so already.  We don't plan to follow up with calls, so please let us know if you're coming and you MUST RSVP if you want your child to swim in the meet. Please note that we switch to morning practice on Wednesday.

Practice Schedule
June 21 - No practice

June 22 - July 22  Morning and evening practice.  Please note, morning practice is our main,  "preferred" practice time.  We have more lanes and coaches available.  Evening practices are for swimmers who cannot come to morning practice -- we only have one or two lanes available.  Swimmers attending evening practice must be able to swim 25 meters unassisted.

Morning practice (M-F)

    8:00 - 8:30 am    ages 4-6
    8:30 - 9:15 am    ages 7-8
    8:30 - 9:30 am    ages 9-10
    9:30- 10:45 am  ages 11-18

Wednesday mornings donuts and juice will be available.

Evening practice (M, T, Th)
    6:30 - 8:00 pm  (length of practice is dependent on age and skill level)

Please note: swimmers may elect to practice in with a different age group at the discretion of the coach.

Weather
As you know, evening thunderstorms are very common in Northern Virginia at this time of year.  We cannot enter the water or be in the pool area when thunderstorms are present. Weather conditions can change rapidly and it may not always be possible to provide advance notice if we need to cancel practice.   The lifeguards are responsible for determining when it is safe to enter the pool area.  Please make sure your child has a plan to get home if a thunderstorm begins during practice.  We ask that parents of children 8 and under remain at the pool during practice (or designate another responsible person).

The website will be updated, and an email sent, when we know in advance that practices will be cancelled.
