About Our 2018 Coaches
Head Coach - Austin Rider
Austin Rider started swimming at age 6 on his neighborhood swim team. He went on to compete at Herndon High School as a distance swimmer. He is currently finishing his second year of college at James Madison University. Austin is extremely excited to step into the head coaching role in his third year with Four Seasons, and is even more excited to get back into the swing of summer swim team!
Assistant Coach - Kimberly Watling
Kimberly graduated from Herndon High School in 2014. She attended VCU for 2 years of college, and plans to finish up at GMU with a degree in Kinesiology. She has aspirations to continue on to physical therapy school. Kimberly swam for the Reflection Riptides swim team from the age of 9 to age 18 and served as a junior coach while swimming with them. This will be her second year as a lifeguard, pool operator, and swim lesson instructor at Four Seasons. Additionally, Kimberly served as a HYS soccer coach for three seasons.
Assistant Coach - Luke Watling
Luke is a junior at Herndon High school where he was a member of the swim team for 3 years. He has swum for the Herndon Swim League since he was 7, but this is his second year swimming with Four Seasons. He also swam competitively on a year-round swim team for 5 years. He served as a Junior Coach and an Assistant Coach on Reflection Riptides, as well as a Junior Coach for Four Seasons last summer. This is his second year as a lifeguard at Four Seasons.
