Little Ripples Program

Little Ripples is a preparatory swim program designed for young swimmers who are not yet ready to swim competitively but are still looking to build confidence, strength, and technique in the water this summer. This program focuses on building foundational swimming skills in a safe, supportive environment.

Program Requirements:
To join Little Ripples, swimmers aged 4+ must be able to:

  • Enter and exit the pool safely without assistance
  • Be comfortable putting their face in the water for 5–10 seconds and blowing bubbles
  • Float with assistance
  • Kick with forward movement

Schedule:
Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings (8am) beginning Monday, June 22nd (no practice on July 4th)

Progression:
Swimmers who demonstrate the ability to swim across the pool without assistance may be invited to graduate to the main swim team.

Parental Participation:

All Four Seasons Swim Team swimmers under the ago of 8 must have a parent present at practices — this includes participants of the Little Ripples program.

Additionally, when and if swimmers are promoted to the main team, parents who have not already done so are expected to volunteer at meets and take on a volunteer role. The volunteer points requirement will be prorated based upon the graduation date.
