Saturday's Meet 6/25 -at Home
@Four Seaons pool
Four Season parents, we have our first home meet on Saturday and we NEED YOUR HELP! There are many families that have not signed up for a volunteer role and we have MANY VACANT slots. Please go to http://fourseasons.swim-team.us/team/default1.asp?Page=Meets&Filter=# and select your volunteer position for the Foxfield meet. If you have trouble please email Traci at [email protected] with your intentions.
If you have signed up to pick up items for the concessions stand, please consider taking on another role also.
If you need to time in slot 1 and there are not any openings, please email [email protected] by Friday noon so that she can move folks around.
As always, it takes a village to run a swim meet and we would like each parent to contribute to the successful outcome of the FourSeasons meet.
Swimmer check-in 7:45 - check-in w/ Coach Laura
Volunteer Check-in 8:00 - check-in w/ Kim Bennett - check-OUT w/ Kim at the end of your assignment
Warm-ups 8:00am
Officials meeting 8:10am
If a swimmer needs to leave early, please CHECK-OUT with Coach Laura.
Relays are the last set of events and are finalized after freestyle. Swimmers may be scheduled for relays (if they didn't tell us they need to leave early), so please don't leave if your swimmer is scheduled for a relay. Swimmers may be in more than one relay, so check carefully. We'll post the replays in the team area as soon as we can get them printed.
Ribbons - Parents please have a discussion with your swimmer about ribbons. Participation ribbons will be given to all 8 and under swimmers if they DQ in an event. However, for the older swimmers we won't give out participation ribbons for DQs. We want to encourage the older swimmers to focus on improving their strokes and earning their placement ribbons. Please support the coaching staff as they work with the swimmers to learn to swim each stroke successfully. Thank you!
Traci and Diane
