End of Season Awards Banquet - Sunday  July 24, 6pm - 10pm @ Four Seasons Pool

We want to have enough food for everyone, so please RSVP now, either way.  We have to tell the caterers on Wednesday how many people are eating.  Swimmers are free, other family members are $8 each for a complete buffet.  Money is being collected by Kathryn Adams at morning practices.  In the evenings, you can leave your money in the ADAMS folder, in the swim team box. Make checks out to Four Seasons Swim Team.  More details will be sent out in a separate email along with details about Champs and All Stars.

Relay carnival - Wednesday July 20 - 6pm @ Four Seasons pool - arrive at 5:30

We have a lot of fun events planned for Wednesday night!  The life guards have put together a team, and now we'd like to know which families will field teams. You are not required to put together a family team. Teams should be 4 people. Larger families can switch who swims in each family relay.   If you don't have 4 family members to make a team, let Kathryn know and she'll help fill out your team. Familiy teams must have an adult on them. Please email Kathryn Adams, [email protected] if you're interested with these details by 10am Wednesday:

1. number of swimmers on your family team
2. which of the family relays and parent swims you would like to particiate in.

Family Relay Choices (they may change):

1. Bodies in Motion Relay - legs = summersault 5 times, twirl, swim backwards, walk
2. Inner Tube Relay = push/pull tube to the other side; each leg a family member is added and must stay w/ the tube
3. Medley Relay - back, breast, fly, free. 
4. Party island - all jump in deep end, all get on inflatable island, then swim to other side and get out
5. Freestyle relay for Families 100m

Parent Options, without their children

1. Parent Freestyle Relay - 100m
2. Freestyle against coaches and guards 50m or 25m

Other relays and events are also planned. Swimmers do not need to sign up with a family.  There are many events for individuals to join.  Everyone will get several chances to be in relays and races. You can find a link to a description of the events, which are subject to change, on the team home page.  YOU WILL SIGN UP for non-family relays when you arrive on Wednesday. 

Planning this is more work than expected.  Please bring your patience and we'll do our best to make it keep moving.  It should be a lot of fun!!

Board Positions

Each year the swim team takes place because of the efforts put in by all the families on the team.  Much of the planning before the season starts, and during the season takes place by the Swim Team Board.  The current board consists of the following positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Sponsorship, Consessions, Spirit, Social Events and Meet Director.  We're not sure  which positions will be open next season, but we would love to get some other families on the board. Co-chairing a  position is  a popular approch for anyone thinking about participating.  We do actually know that Concessions needs a new Chairperson, and Sponsorship is looking for someone to help out and learn the ropes.  Questions and interest should be directed to Maria Kim, [email protected].
