Hello Swim Team Families,
 
We are in need of some new families to take some key board and non-board positions for next season.
 
The Four Seasons Swim Team is run by parent volunteers. We strive to make the swim season a positive, exciting, and happy experience for your child(ren).  We’re asking you to support your child(ren) and the team by volunteering for an open board or committee position for next season.  If you don’t want to take on the position alone, you can share a job.  Deciding early makes your life easier, because it gives you many months to get organized for the short 2 month season and a chance to influence board decisions.  All the board members that are stepping down are currently planning to return next summer, so they will be around to guide you and answer questions.  Only the treasurer is required to be a Four Seasons resident.  Please consider how you can help.  Thank you!
 
Also, congratulations to the winners of the team car magnet contest: Susanna Adams and Mackenzie Koch!  The new magnet will be available for purchase at the start of next season.

Returning Co-Presidents
 
 Secretary: Manage the team website family registration information. Update existing registration forms so they match the website registration information. Collect registration forms and money.  Maintain team roster, email distribution list, and related information on team website.  Maintain list showing the number of years swimmers have been on the team. Maintain team swim team box. Attend team board meetings.  Other duties as needed.
 
Treasurer: Prepare budget.  Keep an up-to-date, accurate record of all financial transactions.  Collect registration and non-participation fees, make bank deposits, write checks to pay bills and coaching staff, reimburse volunteers.  Supervise fundraising.  Prepare end of year financial report.  Attend team board meetings.  Other duties as needed.
 
Fundraising/Donations/PR Co-Chair:  Work with chairperson to coordinate the following team fundraising activities.  Coordinate team publicity efforts in Four Seasons Fallout and elsewhere. Maintain sponsorship details on the team website and serve as the sponsorship liaison. Attend team board meetings.
 
Parties & Social Events Coordinator:  Use website sign up to develop list of volunteers for events. Coordinate volunteers for various swim team parties and events.  Plan and execute events for the season (e.g., donut day, pizza party, awards dinner).
