Hello Swim Team Board,

I am setting up the Board email group list to send emails from the website.  When I select your name/family to include on the distribution, it includes all the email addresses that you added when you registered.  I will continue to see if I can be more selective about which addresses in include, but in the mean time, you can ask me to remove an email address from the registration information if you really don't want one of your email adresses included in the Board email distribution list.  If I do that, then the removed email address won't get any general swim team emails either.

The Herndon Swim League had their first meeting this week, but we probably won't have a meeting until January. Bill is recovered and back as commissioner.  For some reason he is pushing to resolve 2 issues rather quickly.  So we'd like your opinion on these 2 items:

1. How do we feel about NOT holding Champs and All-Stars at our pool? Sterling Park wants to host it.  There are issues, such as parking that they would need to figure out.  Jeremy and I are of the opinion that we would like to host again, but we should give Sterling a chance to be considered.  We have the advantage of ample/close parking and reasonable viewing options for teams to watch the events.

2. Should we have a season schedule similar to last year and end earlier, or start when everyone is out of school and go to the end of July?  Fairfax gets out on June 19. Jeremy and I strongly prefer the early option.             June 16 - July 21   OR    June 23 - July 28
