Volunteering - We still have a few key roles that are empty. It will be hot, so we need to have plenty of volunteers to give each other a break. Also, when we're well staffed the meet moves more quickly.
- Clerk of Course - we need at least one more. If you can 'direct' people and communicate the lane numbers for swimmers than PLEASE select this volunteer option. We'll help anyone that hasn't done it in a while or only got trained at time trials.
- Swimmer Manager - this role makes sure the swimmers know where they need to be for an event; hang with the kids and get them to the clerk in time to swim.
- Concessions could use 1 or 2 more volunteers also!
If volunteers don't self select then we'll have to slot folks in the most important roles.
Relays are the last set of events and are finalized after freestyle. Swimmers may be scheduled for relays (if they didn't tell us they need to leave early), so please don't leave if your swimmer is scheduled for a relay. Swimmers may be in more than one relay, so check carefully. We'll post the replays in the team area as soon as we can get them printed.
SwimSuits – If you don’t have a team suit from this year or last year, try and wear blue or black. If you don’t have any of those, jammers for boys and fitted one pieces for the girls are approriate.
Team Shirts - Team shirts will be available for pick up if you have not already picked up your swimmers' shirts.
CLEAN UP - Please ask your swimmers to clean up the team area during the meet and before they leave. Our team area was not left very clean on Saturday. It will probably be dark when the meet wraps up, so gather your things and clean up when it's still light.
It will be HOT. Adults should come prepared for the heat as well. Looking forward to seeing you there!
