Those of you at the meet yesterday know that we had a mud situation because of the rain.  Tom Alvy and my husband Jeremy spent a long time trying to clear up some of the worst of the mud in the parking lot. They did a great job, but obviously some dirt/mud remains.  Additionally, the field is a mess, so THERE WILL BE NO PARKING ON THE GRASS.  Think about CARPOOLING if possible. There are VISITOR parking spaces in the townhome parking areas, between the pool and Giant/Elden Street.  There's a direct path from the lot, that goes between the townhouses and leads to the pool. More visitor spots can be found on the opposite side of Herndon Parkway.  PLEASE ONLY PARK IN VISITOR SPOTS.

As a result of the weather and mud, here are a couple suggestions for tonight:

- bring chairs rather than blankets because the ground might be damp

- don't wear nice shoes

- we need some help with wet tents and the tarp from yesterday, so it would help if some families could come early to help out
