All,

Due to the threat for severe thunder storms this afternoon, we have secured an alternative location and will plan to meet there for our banquet and awards ceremony.  We will hold the Banquet at Herndon United Methodist Church, located at 701 Bennett Street in Herndon.  The church is located right off of Dranesville Road and across from Herndon High School.  Thanks for Chris and Kathryn Adams with assisting in securing the church.

As planned and announced previously, we will start at 6 pm and should the weather improve, we will move back to the pool following the end of the awards ceremony/clean-up and swim if the pool is open.

The team will provide beverages, and if you would like to bring some item to share for dessert, that would be appreciated.

Thanks to one of our sponsors, California Tortilla, for providing the Fajita Dinner this evening, and thanks to Gracie Yu and Kathryn Adams for assisting in collecting the fees for the dinner.  As a reminder, if you have not paid for adults or non-swimming siblings, please plan to bring that tonight.

It should be a wonderful evening featuring the famous paper-plate awards for the swimmers as well as a few other awards.
