FUN EVENTS!

• Diane Smith has volunteered to arrange the Teen Night ~  Teens look for an update from Diane Smith
• Rosemary DeBenedittis has volunteered for Pizza Night date TBD
• Need a volunteer for the Ice Cream Social tentative for Wednesday, July 22nd
• ​Team Spirit - Our spirit is overflowing!  Come one, come all!  Get your spirit gear!  You can find the pictures of our offer on the website and prices are in the attached deck.  For away meets, we are asking all parents and attendees from Four Seasons to show off their Four Seasons spirit. This will also help with our swimmers knowing who to go to for help and guidance.  
• Themes - Home Meet themes have been selected.  The theme is added in the attached deck and you can also find them on the posted calendar,

NEW STUFF!

• Swimmer of the Week ~ Many thanks to Joyce for graciously offering swim team a portion of the board between the bathrooms to use "Swimmer of the Week" and possibly post other information as needed. The "swimmer of the week" will be picked by the coaches every week and announced Saturday mornings during the pep rally prior to meets and posted Monday through Sunday for all to see!  A boy and a girl will be selected.  The criteria is good behavior and attitude.
• Best Times ~ Coach Erin will also hand out candy to our swimmers with the new best times!  This will happen on Thursday mornings (following the Wednesday meets) and Monday morning (following the Saturday meets).​
• Buddy System ~  Buddy System will be implemented this season to support our younger swimmers and help them to find their way.  This will help them not only be in the right place at the right time but help them with any anxiety and help excite them before they swim. 
• Parents need to stay 8 Feet from the Pool Edge during Practice. ~ Signs will be posted during practices to help swimmers focus on their coaches. Just a friendly reminder of the regulations we need to follow is to maintain a distance from the pool edge during practices.​
• Wednesday Night Home Relays ~ Wednesday night relays will be in the middle of the meet this season.  This will allow parents with younger children to leave if necessary.
• New Offerings @ Concessions ~  Look for exciting new items at our concession stand this year!  We have surveyed our open house attendees and are expanding to include yummy treats! 

PRACTICE TIMES!

Last day of school for Fairfax County is Friday, June 19th.  Until June 20th, evening practices will commence Monday through Thursday starting May 27th in the evenings.  

Starting June 20th

Summer practice:

                          6 and under     8:00 - 8:30 am

                                7-8               8:30 - 9:15 am

                               9-10             8:30 - 9:30 am

                            11 and over   9:30 - 10:45 am

Evening Practices will continue throughout the season with two lanes.  Times will be provided once confirmed.
