Hi everyone,

Saturday is our final meet of the season: the all-league Champs & All Stars.

Preparations are going well, but there are a few items we still need to cover:

1. We need volunteers for the 3rd shift Concessions; we are currently short by 6. This is a critical function, as this meet’s concessions provides a substantial portion of the team’s revenue for the season. Please use the Volunteer button on the calendar to sign up.

2. We also need a few Swim Area Managers to make sure our swimmers, especially the young ones, get to their events at the right time. Use the Volunteer button for this as well.

3. I need a few adult volunteers to help set up Friday night. We will meet at 6:30 pm at the pool. We’ll be carrying tents from the garage to the deck, tables from the clubhouse to the picnic area, installing tarps over the picnic tables, moving banners, hanging signs, and numerous other odds and ends. Please let me know if you can help by replying to this email.

4. Baked Goods. It’s tradition for some families to bring some individually wrapped baked goods for concessions to sell. Portions should be measured for an easy 50 cent sale. Please, no peanuts or tree nuts.

5. Does anyone have a long garden hose and sprinkler they can bring? We’re going to see if we can set up a sprinkler near the front for people to cool down during the long, hot day.
