    Thank You for a Great 2019 Season!

    August 1st

    Thank you all for a great 2019 summer swim season. The kids had a good time and our meets ran smoothly thanks to all of our outstanding volunteers. Four Seasons has the best volunteers in the league!

    With the close of the season, we wanted to mention a few last items:
     
    Surveys: If you have not already done so please take a moment to fill out the end of season survey. This is your chance to help shape the direction of the team!
     
    Results: Times from all meets have been uploaded to the website. The SwimTopia app is a great way to browse your swimmer's times. We are also working on generating and uploading PDF reports for each meet. Reports for all home meets are currently available on the Meets and Events Calendar.
     
    Homecoming Parade: Save the date! Saturday, October 19, 2019! We are planning to walk as a team in the Herndon Homecoming Parade. More details to follow in the fall.
     
    GroupMe: If you are interested in keeping in contact with other parents on the swim team throughout the year, Luke Watling has created a “GroupMe” account to allow for this. Please use following link to join: https://groupme.com/join_group/51589730/MaL8o3tg
     
    Recruiting: During the offseason tell your friends about our great swim team and invite them to join us next season! Due to a few families not returning this year the size of the team was a bit smaller than it has been and we'd like to get the numbers back up next year.

    Commissioner's Award: You may have missed it during the half time presentations at the Champs & All Stars meet, our own Chris Kauffman was given the Commissioner's Award for service to the league. Here is the citation that was read:
    Each year the league recognizes a volunteer who has gone above and beyond to dedicate a great deal of time to their team as well as to the league. This year the league would like to recognize a person who has been affiliated with their swim team for several years and also has been a driving force behind the fine leadership that this team has developed. In addition to duties as the team’s president he has for several years been the organizer for our All-League Meets and been a key factor in making sure this meet comes off smoothly each year. He puts countless hours into the preparation for this meet each year, which we thank him for.
