[Four Seasons Swim Team] Saturday Tri meet vs Foxfield & Kingstream
This is a Tri Meet with the Foxfield Flyers and Kingstream Kahunas, so expect a lot more swimmers & cars than usual.
Spirit Theme: BLUE OUT! Wear lots of blue.
Forecast: Sunny and hot, with a high near 97. Heat index values as high as 100. Calm winds. UV index is forecast to be 10/Very High. Please take appropriate precautions (shirt, hat and sunscreen).
Timeline:
- Pool Set-up: 7:00 am - First Half Timers do pool set-up; check-in with Monica
- Swimmer Check-in: by 7:30 am - with Coach Austin
- Warm-ups: 7:30 am
- Volunteer Check-in: by 7:45 am - with Monica
- Timer and officials meetings on deck: 8:00 am
- Meet Starts: 8:15 am
- Clean up: 2nd half Timers do pool clean up. In addition to returning chairs to proper location, other jobs need to be done such as breaking down canopies, tables, and carrying equipment to storage closet.
Relays are the last set of events. If a swimmer must leave before relays, please let Coach Austin know at the beginning of the meet and CHECK-OUT with Coach Austin. Please do this even if your swimmer is not signed up for a relay.
Concessions: Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, pizza, and hot dogs will be available at concessions.
Parking: Arrive early since there will be two visiting teams. Do NOT park in spaces reserved for the clubhouse. When parking on the field do not park in a way that would block the flow of traffic to the back of the field or block other cars in. Please do not park on the sidewalks (FFX PD has threatened to ticket & tow cars on the sidewalk) or baseball infield.
Clean up: Please ask your swimmers to clean up the team area before leaving.
